Welcome to the Orthopedic’s Garden
A carefully curated collection of therapeutic resources for rehabilitative clinicians and the curious including links to medical websites, videos, exercises, stretches, research, news, and more to help understand, cope with, and overcome daily discomfort.
What is Orthopedic’s Garden? This blog site contains an Ailments Menu - the meat of the site and the reason it was thought up in the first place. There you will find a collection of curated resources with third-party links to Information from .edu/.gov/.org hosted websites (unless otherwise noted) about various diagnoses and anatomy review.
Or browse the Ailments Quick Links for a list of all ailments discussed on the site. (Because more than one may apply anyway, right?)
Additional Resources include website or video links with diagnosis explanations and treatment option possibilities from healthcare professionals including strengthening exercises, stretches, self-massage tips, or do’s and don’ts of a particular ailment.
There are also Product Considerations that some websites/videos address to supplement the conservative treatment/alleviation of those ailments.
It’s the type of website you can send Mom that sheds light on her question, “Why does my knee hurt?” It’s a place to go for information to get started on your/their research about an injury or orthopedic discomfort. We hope you find it helpful!

Good People to Know
Whether you’re a DPT/PT/PTA, CHT/OTR/COTA, LMT, DC, ATC, physiotherapist, kinesiologist or clinician of any kind - outside of work we’re the go-to for questions when something hurts.
Right?!
We’re pretty popular at the family get together. Grandma’s back hurts. Cousin so-and-so tweaked their ankle. The in-law keeps complaining about their neck. The friend is afraid to bother you by asking a question they know you know the answer to.
So what do we do about it? What we love doing — we help!
Here, Try 20 Reps of These and Call Me in the Morning
After performing manual therapy on our “patients” at the holiday gathering or caught wind of a friend needing some advice, we’ve followed up and sent pictures of home exercise programs, messaged them links/images/videos, or demonstrated them ourselves!
This website was built for that purpose!
Send them a link — to here, the Orthopedic’s Garden — to get them started with some information that can point them in the right direction to figuring out the why’s and how’s of their ailment. Click below to find out more.
